Stretching 650m and holding 1,200 tonnes of water, the Dubai Fountain is the world's largest fountain and includes a 100m-long section where jets of water shoot up to 125m in the air. Dubai's skyscrapers The Gulf emirate is home to the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, which stands at 829m high. Burj Khalifa is located in Downtown Dubai, and is considered to be the "Olympic Village of Dubai". This area offers many world-class hotels and apartments. Oasis of the Sea The largest manmade natural saltwater oasis, the Oasis of the Sea is almost untouched, with its grasslands, lagoon and crescent-shaped mangrove. Hop aboard a historic wooden dhows or a sleek catamaran, and be lulled into a sense of maritime familiarity by a series of soothing, traditional Arabian music performances. Visitors can visit one of Dubai's earliest architectural marvels, the Al Qasr (or Rose) Fortress, a majestic turquoise building dating back to the thirteenth century, built of native white marble. Climb the city's most prominent monument, the Burj Khalifa, the 830m-tall tower that straddles Dubai Creek. Walk its glassed-in observation deck for a breathtaking view of the entire city.

Al Safa Park

There is always something happening at Al Safa Park and June is the perfect month to visit the beautiful setting. On June 8th, the annual music festival Daybreak Dubai, a two-day outdoor festival taking place at Al Safa Park, will take place. Known for hosting some of the hottest names in music, Daybreak Dubai will be headlined by hard rockers Five Finger Death Punch. Daybreak will also include a lineup of world-class DJs, live shows and local talent. Daybreak Dubai takes place June 8th-9th. Desert Rides On June 30th, try your hand at horseback riding at Out Dune Adventure Park. Enjoy a camel ride, buggy rides, pony rides and more! From classic horror films to cult classics, the Stephen King-inspired flick The Dark Tower is being released on June 28th.

Mina Al Arab

One of the key tourist destinations in Dubai is The Palm, the most visited island in the world. The Arabian Sea surrounding this natural-island park in Dubai is famous for its glorious beaches. The Palm island is home to several theme parks, including The Dubai Mall, the world's largest and the most visited shopping mall. Visit The Dubai Mall and stay for the grand finale – The Dubai Fountain – and the breathtaking light and water show that takes place every night. Go Zip Lining Dubai is home to the highest commercial sky ride in the world, with a height of 4,000m above sea level. A 1,450m-long zipline takes you through 360-degree panoramic views of Dubai's landmarks. The first flight takes off every 60 seconds at 12pm and the last flight takes off at 11.15pm.

Emirates Palace

Dubai is surrounded by sandy, windswept desert, with little greenery or landscaping. The centrally located Emirates Palace is the most lavish hotel in the emirate and a longtime favorite of the rich and famous. A mixture of ornate European and Arabic architecture, Emirates Palace is situated on a 28-acre man-made lake, surrounded by landscaped gardens and beaches. The hotel is a haven of elegance, with the first feature in the lobby being the Palm Court. In addition to the palm court, guests can take in views of the gardens or even take a boat ride in the lake. The hotel is also home to the Al Majaz Waterfront, a multi-use venue that houses a food and retail complex.

Dubai Marina

Dubai Marina in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is an urban manmade island which has become a haven for luxury apartments, boutique shops and international hotels. The Marina borders the Burj Al Arab, the world's highest hotel with 500 rooms, and the Dubai Parks & Resorts, a collection of theme parks, water parks and hotels. It is known for the family-friendly water park, Bollywood Parks, as well as the world's highest floating hotel, the The World. Marina Mall Marina Mall, the largest mall in the UAE, opened in 2009 and features flagship stores of several international brands. Open 24 hours a day, it features the tallest and biggest Burj Khalifa replica outside Dubai. It is also the tallest at its kind in the Middle East and Africa.

Dubai Desert Safari

Take a boat ride across the wild and serene Arabian Desert, from Jebel Ali (Dubai’s largest manmade island) to Burj Al Arab (a seven-star resort with the world’s largest private yacht). This 20-minute boat journey is a perfect way to explore the region. A popular stop along the ride is The Hollywood Laser Show, which combines a laser show with a desert light show.
